Coach Ross Morgan
Director of Coaching
We are pleased to have Coach Ross Morgan at the helm supervising the development of our player base and delivering continuous education to the staff. Coach Ross is a British National from Cardiff, Wales. His coaching career spans over the past 15 years, of which 9 years were in the U.K. He is a past staff for the Welsh, FA., received the FAW Prelim Award in 1994, UEFA (United European Football Association) C license conversion in 1998, and the UEFA B license in 1999. He completed Par I of the UEFA A license in 2003 and Part II in 2005.

Coach Joel Banta
Director of Coaching
The Myrtle Beach native joins Coast FA after a successful stint as Director of Coaching for the former Coastal Soccer Club. Joel posseses a wealth of coaching knowledge and experience at every level of soccer. He is presently the Assistant Camp Director for Coastal Carolina Soccer Camps, and also the Director for all CCSC day camps. He led both the Myrtle Beach High School Boys and Girls Programs to the ranks of the elite in the state, having also coached at Lowcountry Day School and Socastee High School. Coach Banta’s playing experience includes playing for Coastal Carolina University, appearing in the 1995 NCAA Tournament. He holds a USSF C License.

Coach Joel Barber
Coach Joel holds a NSCAA Advanced National Coaching Diploma as well as a National Goalkeeping Diploma. He also served as an assistant coach at Coastal Carolina University for three years.
Coach Joel settled in Myrtle Beach after serving as an assistant coach with the men’s soccer program at St. Bonaventure University. While there, he helped the Bonnies to a No. 12 national ranking (NCAA Division 1). Prior to that, he spent two years at his alma mater, Houghton College, working as an assistant soccer coach.
A native of East Aurora, NY, Barber helped lead his club team to two premier state championships before playing collegiately at Houghton College where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1998. While there, he helped the squad to three NAIA National Tournament appearances and a National ranking as high as No. 3. From there, he attained his master’s in education and has been teaching in the public school system since.

Coach Raymond D’Argenio

Coach D’Argenio comes to our community from New York where he posted an impressive record as Head Coach of Men’s Soccer at City College and Head Coach of Pelham Traveling Soccer Club. He is past Assistant Head Coach of Coastal Carolina University Men’s Soccer Team.

Coach Raphael Carr
Coach Raphael Carr obtained an “E” coaching license through the SCYSL in June of 2010. Raphael’s coaching experience began in 1995 and includes stints with Socastee High, Conway High, and St. James High schools with the varsity and junior varsity soccer teams. Raphael is a native of Myrtle Beach and played soccer at Erskine College. Following college Raphael helped establish Socastee High as a formidable soccer program in SC. Raphael played pro-soccer with the USISL teams (Myrtle Beach Boyz and Myrtle Beach Sea Dawgs from 1995 through 1999).

Coach Allen Sihatrai
Coach Allen Sihatrai is a native of Dallas, Tx where he played for Flame Soccer Club and Richardson High School. From there he went on to play four years of Division I soccer at Centenary College in Louisiana earning a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. He then went on to earn a Master of Education in Health and Physical Education from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Coach Allen Sihatrai began coaching in 1998. His coaching experience includes Shreveport United Soccer Club, C. E. Byrd High School, Airline High School, and LSU-Shreveport where he helped lead the program to a conference championship in its second year of existence. He holds a USSF "B" License and Youth License. He moved to Myrtle Beach in November of 2009 and is currently working towards a second Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Coach Pat Piscitelli
Coach Pat comes back to Coast FA after being gone for a few years. Coach Pat has been apart of the Coast FA staff for 7 years now. Coach Pat is a native of New Jersey but has been in the Carolinas for the last 15 years. He played his college soccer at Mars Hill College where he is now a member of the Mars Hill College Athletic Hall of Fame. After Mars Hill Coach Pat went on to play professional soccer with the South Carolina Shamrocks. After Coach Pat’s playing career was over he became the Assistant Men’s and Women’s coach at Wingate University. He earned his NSCAA National Diploma and Goalkeeper Diploma in 2001. Coach Pat also was an Assistant Coach at Francis Marion University for the Men’s team. Coach Pat is also a current member of the South Carolina ODP staff.
Coach Carl Clark 
Coach Clark is pleased to be joining Coast FA coaching the U-9s. His soccer career began in New York where he became a Long Island Junior Select team member before making the New York State ODP program earning him a NCAA Division I scholarship at Hartwick College, where he studied Biology. Coach Clark is currently an 8th grade science and social studies teacher at St. James Middle School and is the 2nd year Head Coach of the St. James High School JV soccer program. Coach Clark recently earned his statewide “D” Coaching License in 2011 and is very excited to share his coaching and playing experiences here with Coast FA.

Coach China Maja
Coach China holds a USSF “D” Coaching license. He is originally from South Africa, where he played both Professionally and National representing his country in the Junior World Cup. He played college soccer at Coastal Carolina University, helping lead the Chants to an NCAA Nationals in the 2004 and 2005 seasons. During his final year, he became part of the men and women’s soccer programs in training the players at Coastal Carolina University. Upon his graduation, China became heavy involved in soccer. He worked as a staff member during the ODP Region III camp in the summer of 2007. He currently serves as a Head Coach with CoastFA and as a Co-Founder and Director of KICKOFF SOCCER ACADEMY. Last year he served as the Assistant Coach at Coastal Carolina Men’s soccer where they were crowned Champions in the Big South Conference. He also coaches individual and small group training sessions throughout the Grand Strand.
