Former Coast FA player and current goalkeeper coach Chris Glodack has signed his first professional contract with the Tampa Bay Rowdies. The Rowdies were established in 1975 and compete in the North American Soccer League ( NASL ) which is the second highest level of soccer offered in the United States just behind the MLS. The team is preparing to leave for an eleven day pre season trip to Portugal next week.
Chris attended prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton Florida before starring at Coast FA and Carolina Forest High School. His successful youth career earned him a scholarship at Clemson University where his Tigers made a deep run in the 2014 NCAA tournament. Chris also was a member of the Myrtle Beach Mutiny last summer.
“I am excited about my opportunity with the Rowdies. I have to thank my family, the Clemson coaching staff and as well as everyone from Coast FA that supported me through this journey. I am excited to start work and be able to contribute any way that I can to help the Rowdies.
