Coast FA Opens Rec & PDC in Georgetown County and Carolina Forest

Coast FA Nation,

We are excited to announce that this fall we will expand the McDonald’s Rec League programing to Pawleys Island and Georgetown, the same programing we deliver at Socastee Park.  Under the McDonald’s Rec League banner we will brand it “McDonald’s Rec South” at Stables Park.  Programing at Stables will include training Monday through Friday and as many games as we can schedule on Saturday and Sunday.

We are excited not only for our Rec league players that live in Pawleys and Georgetown, but also for our PDC/Academy and full-sided travel teams.  Stables gives us the opportunity to increase SCYS Challenge, Classic and Coastal league home game schedules club-wide, resulting in less travel time for our players and their families.

This fall we will also deliver PDC and McDonald’s Rec. League programming in Carolina Forest at the baseball fields on International Drive. (see Map).  We will start with two days of weekly training (Tuesdays and Fridays), but will expand programming as needed.   This is a huge benefit for our younger players (12U and younger) who live in Carolina Forest and Myrtle Beach.

Our vision of a county-wide rec league, where teams train right in their neighborhoods with weekend match play scheduled over multiple venues is starting to take shape.  We are very excited to see this beginning to happen, as it will only promote the development of youth soccer in our greater community.

Thanks for your support.
