Earn $$ To Reduce Your Soccer Fees And The Costs Of Other Activities
For the past 10 years many parents of youth that play soccer, participate in schools sports and organized activities such as cheerleading, high school bands, gymnastics, karate, dance, etc., have volunteered to work the Pelican Baseball Concessions to offset the costs associated with their particular activities. Some cover their entire activity costs with funds leftover to cover tournament competition, summer camps, private school tuition and many other items.
In the past, children 10 or older have worked with a parent at the concessions. This year only children that turn 14 by September 1, 2008 are eligible to work the concessions.
“For each home stand a parent or adult (21 or older) works, we will credit your child’s account in an amount of $32. For each child (under 21 as described above) that works a home stand, we will credit the child’s account $32 also.”
There are seventy home games in the Pelican baseball schedule. The season starts in April and ends Labor Day. There are no limits to the number of games you can volunteer to work:
"Two adults or one adult and one child (under 21 as described above) volunteering to work three games each month will realize $960 credit."
