What do I get for volunteering to work? Each person will receive $35 credit to the players account for each home game that he or she works.
How much credit can I earn by volunteering? You are limited only by the number of home games you volunteer to work. For example: Two people working five home games each month for two months will receive $700 credit. Three people working three home games each month over the five month schedule will receive $1,575 credit.
What can I use the credits for? You may use credits to cover your player fees, summer camps, tournament entry fees, and numerous other activities.
Can we work as a group and for a particular activity? Yes. A group of 15 working 5 home games will receive $2,100 for their designated activity (i.e. cheerleading squad, soccer team, dance team, etc.).
Is there a limit on the number of people that I can recruit to work the concessions for my child? No, so long as there are staffing needs for a particular date.
Can my child also volunteer for concessions? Yes, but he or she must turn 14 years of age by December 31, 2007.
What about rain-outs and game cancellation? No credit is awarded on days when games are canceled before the concessions open. However, when a game is called after the concessions open, any proceeds are distributed to all that were present for that day’s game.
What about double headers? Double Headers are treated as one game for scheduling purposes. However, $45.00 credit will apply to each per person that works a double header.
What am I required to wear? We require you to wear Khaki pants or shorts and a comfortable pair of shoes that encloses the entire foot. No open toe or open heel shoes are permitted. Please wear a thin white shirt that can be worn under the shirts provided at the stadium.
What time do I have to be at the concessions? You must show up a minimum of 2 hours before game time. Concessions open 1 ½ hours before game time. Games generally run for approximately 2 ½ hours. Those that arrive first, leave first as the game wines down.
How do I get on the schedule to work? To select the dates you volunteer to work click on “Game Dates & Sign Up Sheet” link below and follow the instructions on the page that appears. We understand that it is difficult to list every date you wish to work months in advance. Therefore, you may select dates for April. Then, as we get closer to May, select dates for May, then do June, etc. You may request dates every month, every week or check with us daily. There may be days when we will call you to fill in some openings.
