Dateline: Aiken  August 27, 2007

Yesterday, the 97 Boys Red were successful in capturing their first tournament championship of the 07/08 seasonal year.  On a weekend that will be remembered for its numererous thunderstorms and sizzling heat, the 97 (U10) Boys Red, playing up an age group, took control of the U11 Silver Division posting a "Nil" record for "goals scored against."  Special recognition goes to Josh Barua.  Your effort as goal keeper was truly remarkable.  The team posted victories against Augusta Arsenal 1-0,  Central Virginia 2-0, and 1-0 against Lexington United in the final match.
