Coast FA boys teams are set to compete in the 2026–27 National Academy League season. The full schedule is now live, and the club is looking forward to a strong campaign against some of the most respected youth soccer programs in the region.

What Is the National Academy League?

The National Academy League (NAL) is a nationally recognized developmental league that connects elite youth clubs across regions, providing a high-level, structured competitive environment designed to bridge the gap between grassroots play and top-tier academy pathways. Unlike standard recreational or local travel leagues, the NAL measures teams against the best clubs in their age groups across multiple states, creating meaningful pressure-tested moments that accelerate player growth. Importantly, the NAL serves as a direct feeder pathway to MLS Next — the top youth soccer league in the country — giving Coast FA players a clear, structured road toward elite development and both collegiate and professional opportunities.

The 2026–27 schedule brings Coast FA boys up against a strong field of clubs from across the Carolinas and Georgia. Here is a closer look at the programs our teams will face this season:

Crossover Events & Key Milestones

This fall, the NAL is introducing a new Crossover event in Florida in October, giving teams an opportunity to compete against clubs from across the country in a high-exposure environment. Coast FA boys will also have the opportunity to participate in the NAL Crossover in Atlanta in December. These events represent significant milestones on the competitive calendar and meaningful opportunities for player development and visibility.

The 2026–27 NAL season runs from late August 2026 through early 2027, with the fall competitive window kicking off on August 29, 2026 . Families are encouraged to follow the schedule and plan ahead to support the boys throughout the season.

Fall Is Coming — and Registration for Coast FA's Fall Programs Is Now Open!

The smell of fresh-cut grass, the sound of a ball hitting the back of the net, and the excitement of a brand-new soccer season — fall is almost here! Coast FA is thrilled to announce that registration for our Fall 2026 programs is officially open. Whether your child is lacing up cleats for the first time or returning for another season of competitive development, there is a program for every player, every age, and every goal.

Our Fall Programs

KinderKickit (Ages 3–4)

KinderKickit is the first step in the Coast FA Select Soccer pathway — a six-week, fun-first introduction to the game designed for our youngest players. Sessions meet once per week and focus on building self- confidence, coordination, and a love for the game through age-appropriate activities. There are no matches — just smiles, movement, and a ball at their feet.

Pre Junior Academy (Ages 5–6)

The Pre Junior Academy is the natural next step for players ready to build on their KinderKickit foundation. This six-week program introduces 4v4 small-sided play with one session per week, helping young players develop basic skills in a structured but still playful environment.

Junior Academy (Ages 7–10 | Birth Years 2016–2019)

The Junior Academy takes the next step in player development with an eight-week program featuring twice-weekly sessions and Saturday matches in a 5v5 format. Players begin to experience the rhythm of a real season — training, competing, and growing week over week under the guidance of Coast FA's licensed coaching staff.

CMC Coast FA Rec League (Ages 5 Up)

Our recreational league remains the heartbeat of the Coast FA community — a coed, volunteer- coached program welcoming players of all experience levels. With training locations across Carolina Forest, Socastee Park, and Stables Park in Pawley's Island, the Rec League gives players a fun, safe, and structured environment to enjoy the game close to home.
