Coach Joel Banta’s Coast 07 Red (click for image) won the U14 National Cup Southeast Regional Championship in Winston Salem , North Carolina over the weekend in blistering conditions. The win qualifies the team to participate in the US Club Nationals in Colorado next month. The boys posted two victories over One 7 Soccer Club and Carolina Velocity FC with a draw to Carolina FC Wolves to claim top honors. “ I am really proud of the effort that we put forth this weekend in very difficult conditions. We have four new players for the coming season and each of them held their own this weekend. Winning Regionals is a great way to start off the season” said Coach Banta.
